How To Use Our 100% Pure Oil of Oregano This natural herb offers a variety of remedies. ACNE OR OTHER SKIN PROBLEMS Oil of Oregano has been used to treat acne; remove kerotesis; to destroy foot, finger, ear, nail and leg fungus and eczema. (If you wish to dilute, follow instructions at page bottom.) You may apply either diluted or pure Oil of Oregano directly to affected spots once daily; use more often if necessary. Realize that it will burn or sting and will leave a red mark, but that shows the destruction of the infection. The burning sensation goes away after about 10 minutes. DO NOT TOUCH THE TREATED AREA! You will spread the Oregano Oil into possibly tender areas, such as your eyes.  DANDRUFF/SCALP DISORDERS Take a bottle of approximately 8 ozs of ANY shampoo. Pour entire contents into a glass bowl. Add 10 to 20 drops of Oil of Oregano to your shampoo. Mix thoroughly with a metal spoon. Pour mixture back into shampoo bottle. Shampoo normally, allowing the lather to sit on your hair for a few minutes, then rinse. DO NOT GET IN EYES! POISON OAK/POISON IVY Add a few drops to a pump soap and use during showering and hand washing. DO NOT GET IN EYES! GINGIVITIS/GUM DISEASE Use a drop of the diluted Oil Of Oregano (see bottom of page on how to dilute) on your toothbrush instead of toothpaste. Rub on gums and teeth. Apply once or twice daily. WARTS/BOILS Saturate affected area with pure Oil Of Oregano. Cover with a bandage. Repeat procedure every day until warts are gone. SINUS/EMPHYSEMA/CONGESTION The vapors from the Oil of Oregano can be inhaled to clear your throat and nasal passages of viruses, bacteria, and fungi. A small cloth with a few drops of the oil can be sniffed occasionally while riding on public transportation or when in crowds. Put 1/2 cup of boiling water in cup. Put 1 or 2 drops of pure Oregano Oil in cup. Stir briefly. Cover head and cup with towel. Breath the steaming vapors deeply. As well, place 1 to 2 drops of the diluted mixture under your tongue each morning. Oil of Oregano is assimilated 10 times faster this way (as opposed to our Oregano Oil Gel Caps or Oregano Capsules, which assimilate via your digestive tract), though it WILL burn lightly and taste funny! EARACHE First, clean the effected ear with hydrogen peroxide. Tilt your head to one side and place a few drops of HP in the ear. It will clean out all the old earwax. This procedure will cause bublling and tickling inside your ear canal, so just bear with it. After no more bubbling is felt, drain out the HP. Next, put 2 to 3 drops of the diluted Oil of Oregano mixture on one side of a Q-tip (NEVER use our Oil of Oregano without diluting it firts for this application or you will feel like your ear's on fire!) and swab the canal. Use the other (dry) side of the Q-tip to wipe out the extra OoO. Repeat daily till earache is gone. SORE THROAT or COLD/FLU SYMPTOMS Take your usual dose under your tongue. After a few seconds, take your drink of water to swallow the OoO, but DO NOT SWALLOW. Instead, gargle for a minute or so to coat your throat, THEN swallow. Do this EVERY HOUR till symptoms are gone. INTERNALLY Taken internally, Oil of Oregano is highly effective against a wide range of yeast, fungi, bacteria, and candidiasis. It also kills internal parasites and viruses. IT MUST BE PROPERLY DILUTED FIRST! Oil of Oregano is assimilated 10 times faster this way (as opposed to our Oregano Oil Gel Caps or Oregano Capsules, which assimilate via your digestive tract), though it WILL burn lightly and taste funny! We use the Oil of Oregano at home daily. I have a 5 to 1 mixture we use. (It took us almost a year to work up to that power!) I put 1/2 an eyedropper of this mixture under my tongue, let it sit there for a few seconds, then wash it down with about 2 oz of water. HOW TO DILUTE Use EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL to dilute our 100% pure Oil of Oregano. Find yourself an eyedropper bottle (we now sell them for $3.00 each) made of glass. (We recommend a 10 up to 50 to 1 dilution - it totally depends on your taste) 10 to 50 drops of E.V. Olive Oil to 1 drop of Oil of Oregano. Put this mixture into your glass eyedropper bottle. You may also find it necessary to modify this formula, up or down. This is the perfect mixture to take internally. Oil of Oregano is a HOT spice. It is one of the strongest essential oils in existence! NEVER APPLY UNDILUTED OIL OF OREGANO TO MUCUS MEMBRANES like the eyes, the genitals, the anus, the arm pits, your mouth, inside the nose, etc., and be careful when using full strength on the skin. In a landmark decision on Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled that the health claim rules imposed by the FDA unconstitutional and in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act. The court instructed the FDA to define "significant scientific agreement" for health claims on dietary supplement labels, and instructed the FDA to allow the use of disclaimers on labels rather than to suppress these claims outright.
